Display Ads Sales Restriction changes

Dear customer,

Thank you for using Yahoo! JAPAN Ads.

Sales restrictions on some products of Display Ads will be changed.
Please see the following details.

Once again, thank you for using Yahoo! JAPAN Ads.


1. Product:
 Display Ads (Auction)
 Display Ads (YDN)

2. Schedule:
 June 15, 2020 (Wed)
 *Schedule may change without prior notice.

3. Overview:
 "Sales restrictions" applied to some products of Display Ads will
 change to "ad placement restrictions."
 "Ad placement restrictions" works to specify available ads by setting
 restricted categories of products and services on each ad product and
 ad placement.

 Before the change, the ads created for products and services of
 restricted categories have been rejected because of the category itself.

 After the change to "ad placement restrictions," categories will not be
 rejected on editorial review.
 Categories will be set for each ad placement.
 Therefore the ads of categories rejected on the editorial review with
 the former restriction may become available depending on ad placements.

 This change will be applied to the following campaign goals and ad products.

  Item list promotion
  Banner (video)
  Dynamic Ads for Display
  PC Brand Panel (Image)
  PC Brand Panel (Video)
  PC Brand Panel (Dynamic Ads for Display)
  * For "Responsive (video)" on In-Feed placement, the former "sales
  restrictions" will be abolished, and it will become out of scope of
  "ad placement restrictions."

  PC Brand Panel (Image)
  PC Brand Panel (Video)
  PC Brand Panel (Dynamic Ads for Display)
  * For Video Ads, the former "sales restrictions" will be abolished,
  and it will become out of scope of "ad placement restrictions."

 Restricted categories vary with ad products and ad types.
 Please note that impressions may decrease depending on categories because
 of "ad placement restrictions."

 Refer to the release note for further details.
 
4. Precautions:
 - There will be no re-doing of editorial review for the ads due to this
 change. Reviewing with "ad placement restrictions" will be done after
 the release date.

 - Please exclude items of the restricted categories from Item list on
 Dynamic ads for display.
 If your Item list includes some items under restrictions, your ads may
 not be delivered.
 * Display Ads (Auction) is available for specific advertisers.
 * "PC Brand Panel (Dynamic Ads for Display)" is available only for
 limited advertisers.
