New feature in Sponsored Search auto bidding released

Dear customer,

Thank you for using Yahoo! JAPAN Promotional Ads.

A new feature has been added to the auto bidding feature in
Sponsored Search campaigns, as previously announced in "New feature
in Sponsored Search auto bidding (Document Number: APIE-FY18-2009)".
The auto bidding type "Maximize Conversions" has been closed as
well as some related items on the Campaign Management Tool and
Campaign Editor. Please see below for details.

3. Additional features in auto bidding:
(1) A new feature "standard bidding" was added to auto bidding.
The two bidding types below will be available after the effective

- Standard bidding: New bidding type applied to campaign
- Portfolio bidding: Existing bidding type created at account
level and can be applied to multiple campaigns

(2) The following auto bidding types can be created at campaign
level after the effective date. These auto bidding types were
required to be created at account level and then set up to
campaigns afterwards.

- Maximize Clicks
- Target ROAS
- Target CPA
*Can be selected if conversion tracking is set.

The instructions for setting bidding will change due to the new
feature. Please refer to the help page for new instructions.

4. Auto bidding type "Maximize Conversions" closed:
Due to the new bidding type, "Maximize Conversions" has sunset
as it has similar features to "Enhanced CPC". Please confirm the
changes below.

- "Maximize Conversions" cannot be selected when creating a new
portfolio bidding (former "auto bidding") setting from the
portfolio bidding tool. Campaigns cannot be set to the existing
auto bidding setting using "Maximize Conversions".

- All data related to the auto bidding type "Maximize Conversions"
will automatically be migrated. No user action is required for
the migration. The auto bidding type for campaigns using
"Maximize Conversions" will be changed to "Individual CPC
(Enhanced CPC)" sequentially after the effective date by the
end of this year, and bidding settings using "Maximize Conversions"
within the portfolio bidding tool will be deleted.

- The auto bidding report for "Maximize Conversions" will become
unavailable after January 30, 2019 JST. For customers currently
using "Maximize Conversions" and need the auto bidding report
for the relative data, please download the report before the
date above.

5. Removed items:
Some items have been removed from the Campaign Management Tool
and Campaign Editor.
